TRILATERAL RESEARCH CONFERENCES: New call for applications
To encourage the exchange and the creation of networks between researchers in Human and Social Sciences coming from Germany, France and Italy and to support the use of German, French and Italian as scientific languages the programme of "Trilateral Research Conferences", promoted by German Research Foundation (DFG), Foundation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme (FMSH) and Villa Vigoni, continues also in 2012. Multilinguism is one of the primary principles of this programme.
Applications can be submitted until June 30th 2012.
Prof. Amodeo new Secretary General of Villa Vigoni
Prof. Dr. Immacolata Amodeo has taken up her functions as Villa Vigoni's Secretary General on February 1st 2012.
She had been designated – according to the statutes of Villa Vigoni Association – by the Italian Ministery for Foreign Affairs and by the Federal Ministery of Education and Research and had been elected by the Villa Vigoni Association Meeting of Members.
Prof. Dr. Amodeo is Professor for Comparative Literatures at Jacobs University Bremen. Her main research topics are European Literatures from centuries 18th to 21st with various publications on migration literatures. In one of her monographies (Bielefeld, 2007) she dealt with "operistic aspects" in Italy and Europe.
